Christian Media Research website is dedicated to making personal attacks on the believers of Jesus Christ.

Many of the issues examined at Christian Media Exposed .com would be of little concern to most people, even believers. The fact that James Lloyd and Susan Lenox have been using drugs during the past 10 years and lived together without being married, while James was still married to his previous wife Anita would be of little importance. 

Even Lloyd's previous habitual drunken episodes might be overlooked as an extension of a sort of Christian charity towards a fallen brother redeemed, born into sin but purchased as a bondservant of Christ. 

So what if, while under oath, Susan Lenox alleged a rape attempt against her by James?  That was a long time ago they might say. And indeed, sensitivity toward a repentant brother should be our core desire for the saints. Christian charity dictates that we "...do unto others..." as we would have done unto us.

So if these issues should relegated to "the old man" of the flesh, why are these issues pertinent in the lives of James Lloyd and Susan Lenox? 

Colossians 3:9 "Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;"

Truth is cavalierly abused at Christian Media. Indeed, though they claim to be driven by God's Holy Spirit, fantastic claims are made about every prophetic book or tape set. During one commercial, Lloyd's followers are told that they "need" the information, such information being "necessary".

Ephesians 4:22 "That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;"

Mercy is a concept which is not recognized at Christian Media. If Lloyd and Lenox have indeed been "saved by grace" and having been "delivered" from such, why do they they rail upon the saints of God as though they had no part in "original sin"? It is the profound hypocrisy of James Lloyd, "doing business as Christian Media Network", which makes these issues relevant.

2nd Corinthians  4:1 "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;" [emphasis added]

Christian Media Research

Christian Media Research was originally a website, dedicated to making personal attacks upon Steve Quayle. The anti-Quayle website included maps to Quayle's home, and a photograph of Steve's wife. After Quayle made a deal with Lloyd, the website took its current form. Instead of making personal attacks upon Quayle, James began a series of attacks upon believers with whom he disagreed, most being perceived as economic competitors of Christian Media.

Slander smells its worst when stirred with hypocrisy and nowhere is it stirred up and dished out with more relish and hypocrisy than at Lloyd's character assassination site, "Christian Media Research .com". In his smear pieces, Lloyd attempts to disguise the smell with Bible passages, which always seem to be saying what he wants them to say at any given time.  While James rails on people for various "sins" with the flimsiest of evidence and of which he judges them all to be guilty, he has no moral, scriptural or ethical ground for making the claims he makes in his Bible flavored slander.

2nd Corinthians  4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. [emphasis added]

If you examine the articles on that website, you will notice a regular pattern for attacking the saints. The reader will notice in the libelous writings of James Lloyd, that he almost always starts with a mention of scripture and ends with mention of scripture; the rest is pure James Lloyd. When the Bible is used in Lloyd's slimy smear pieces, it is used as one might use a nail to fasten something loose. Nails are placed at either end of the piece, with nails added anywhere Lloyd's premise becomes too flimsy to support his contention. This habitual "handling the word of God deceitfully;" represents business as usual at Christian Media. Although Lloyd claims to be a minister and a "Prophet" of God, he thinks nothing of ruining the reputations of innocent Christians for the sake of sales and a larger market share.

Another thread which runs through Lloyd's diatribes against the saints is that his victims are all people which Lloyd perceives to threaten his economic relations. If such a target is chosen who is not involved in Christian ministry (Lloyd's "competition"), they will be associated with one.

Lloyd uses his "ministry" like a weapon with evil intent. Indeed, one poor woman (a Christian Media customer and radio listener) was railed on by James Lloyd on the radio and called a "slut" and "whore" an "adulteress" and a "slut puppy" ( Is this the Spirit of God or the spirit of the Devil?), merely because she had aided a man (Craig Portwood) whom James Lloyd deemed to be a competitor. On his October 22, 2002,  Apocalypse Chronicles program, Lloyd leveled a number of false, vicious accusations against this innocent woman and also said that Portwood was "...shacked up in a motel right now, with another man's wife, going to court, trying to get the money from the inheritance that the husband got, to finance himself in a new Christian Network...". This was completely false and Lloyd refused to supply any documentation to support his claim. Likewise, Lloyd went so far as to insinuate that her child had been molested. His "sources" remain anonymous and his "evidence" remains undisclosed.

In the above slander, James Lloyd also used the slimy tactic of employing a "layered approach" to his lying, embedding lies within lies. Not only did the woman not "shack up"  with anybody, but her husband was not even a believer, much less a listener. The woman in her own home, more than 30 miles away from the motel where Mr. Portwood was living---alone. Thus, Lloyd's listeners (including any who might have supported Portwood's broadcast financially), were given the subtle message that any who might listen to Portwood's broadcast would be putting their home at risk. 

When these sleazy, false allegations were presented to Lloyd, in a counter to his lawsuit against Portwood and the woman, Lloyd hid behind a statute of limitations defense. He was later judged guilty of defaming Portwood and the woman with similar smears in another internet article --- With malice!

James Lloyd assaulted this woman verbally on the radio "with evil intent" and then he attempted to personally intervene in her divorce. Worse yet, he sued this woman, calling her a liar, after she publicized the contact. Lloyd did not expect the following telephone call between her ex-husband and her daughter, to be recorded and made available to a jury, nor on this website. To hear that audio, click here.

In that recording, it is not just revealed that Lloyd did attempt to meddle in this woman's divorce, but that Lloyd then wanted the man to return the "favor", by testifying for them in their lawsuit against the man's ex-wife. Such back door dealings are typical of Lloyd's sneaky, underhanded "research". 

What is even more revealing is the fact while this woman was being accused of adultery by James Lloyd on international radio station WBCQ, a woman Lloyd likes to call "Christian Media friend" Jennifer Ellis, had "volunteered" to help at the station, later moving in with James Lloyd's friend, Alan Weiner , the owner radio station WBCQ and pushing Alan's wife Elayne, out of the picture.

As a result of that love affair between a "Christian Media friend" Jennifer Ellis and station owner Alan Weiner, Alan (and Jennifer pictured together in 2004) divorced his wife of 20 years to be with Jennifer, filing the initial paperwork in the winter of 2004. Weiner's wife Elayne was devastated.

Oddly enough, not only has James not criticized his "friend" for breaking up a marriage, but Jennifer's (now ex) husband Robert Ellis, continues to do a radio show with Christian Media as though nothing had happened. Of course, having a Christian Media "friend" sharing a bed with a radio station owner has not resulted in a rebuke. Of course, such an arrangement could only serve Lloyds purposes.  Hypocrisy is Lloyd's stock in trade. Records show that after Weiner's divorce from his wife Elayne was finalized, Alan and Jennifer were married in July of 2007, on Alan's birthday.

In another example of Lloyd peddling his deceit, he calls one David Wilson on November 29, 2006, trying to manipulate Mr. Wilson, presumably to influence Mr. Wilson's inevitable testimony in the case.

In that telephone call, which was captured on Mr. Wilson's "Call-wave" device (pictured to the right), Lloyd nervously slanders defendant Craig Portwood, falsely telling Mr. Wilson that the defendant was trying to implicate Mr. Wilson and another individual as well. The tactic backfired on Lloyd.

This type of back alley maneuvering is not the kind of thing one would expect to see from a "vessel of honor" as James is fond of calling himself, yet this is exactly the quality of "research" which goes into any given smear published on Christian Media research. In essence, Lloyd believes anything which dovetails with his agenda driven theories and once self convinced, he pursues them as though his theories were proven fact. 

What is even more telling of Lloyd's agenda driven conclusions in this episode, is the fact that Portwood did not accuse anyone, nor did he name any individuals, but merely forwarded two documents to Lloyd's lawyer (The pertinent portions of these documents are highlighted. To read that document, click on the thumbnail at the left).

The first was a copy of a forum page, which Lloyd asserted contained postings made in Lloyd's name by Portwood. That document shows the internet protocol (ip) numbers, indicating the location from whence the postings were made.

The second document forwarded to Lloyd's lawyer (To read that document, click on the thumbnail at the Right) shows that the internet protocol (ip) numbers which appeared on the posts, trace to a company called SEI DATA, which is located, not in Oregon where Portwood lives, but in South East Indiana. James knows that both Mr. Wilson and one Greg Jones (referred to in the audio clip) live in SEI DATA's service area, South East Indiana.

Thus, rather than seeing that he was wrong about who posted these silly things, Lloyd deceitfully told Mr. Wilson that Portwood was trying to implicate Mr. Wilson, when in reality, it was the data itself and not any statement Portwood had made, which was implicatory. This tactic of distorting data to suit the purposes and agendas of James Lloyd doing business as Christian Media Network is a common Lloyd maneuver.

Another individual slandered is Craig Portwood (mentioned above). The very day (October 18, 2002) Lloyd launched a premeditated an unprovoked attack upon Mr. Portwood, one of James Lloyd's slander pieces on Steve Quayle stated that Portwood "...left Christian Media on satisfactory terms" (Click on thumbnail to read the reference). Yet while this article was on the internet (a copy of that page can also be viewed at the internet archive.), Lloyd began telling his radio listeners that Portwood had been "discharged" from Christian Media for "adultery".

 The question naturally arises: was Lloyd lying in the article?

"Breathing out threatenings and slaughter"

In one incident, James Lloyd personally threatened one Steve Zychal (aka Steve Z), accusing him of defaming Lloyd, even as Lloyd had slandered Steve calling him a "...slimy little Sleazebag of the worst kind" (click on thumbnail to the right).

In that threat dated August 1, 2005 (see thumbnail to the left), Lloyd told Steve in essence "I know where you live" as Lloyd had hired investigators to find him. Lloyd also said that he wanted to "make an example" of Steve. Lloyd also promised to contact Steve's employer (no doubt to slander Steve in an attempt to interrupt his employment) and to release a "publicity package", which would no doubt slander Steve as had been done on the Christian Media "research" site.

In that threat, Lloyd also demanded that Steve do as Lloyd said or Lloyd would publish Steve's address, unlisted telephone number, birthdate, and other information which identity thieves regularly use to ruin people financially.  This information was to be sent to "hundreds" of Yahoo forums in the event that Steve did not submit to Lloyd's self perceived authority. Steve did submit to Lloyd's perceived "authority" and the slander piece on Steve was removed from Lloyd's slander website.
